<div>You can spend coins to purchase items in DemonCrawl. Coins are typically acquired by picking them up off of the ground, but can also be gained through certain items, as well as selling to Nomads, Bazaars, and [[Merchant_Ring|selling to shops]].<br />

Other forms of currency that spawn on the ground like coins include diamonds and purple diamonds. Diamonds are worth 5 coins each, and purple diamonds are worth significantly more.<br />

Hard Mode applies a 1.25x multiplier to shop item prices. The prices of items in the shops will randomly fluctuate, so it is advisable to enter with a few more coins than the base price of an item if you are looking for a specific item.<br />
