We just deployed a new content patch for DemonCrawl! This update includes 5 new [[items]], 3 new [[Daily Missions|daily missions]], some performance improvements and a secret stage.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The {{IconLink|Friendly Mimic}} is an awesome new passive designed by Mythic Patron CaineSenpai. It transforms your chests into strong [[Familiar|familiars]] that help you complete stages!&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
While designing this item, CaineSenpai made an important note:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;quot;If you lost the ability to open the chests [and] got the item early game it wouldn&#039;t be very fun locking you from any new items&amp;quot;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
We agreed on that, and decided to give the Friendly Mimic a bit of special functionality: even though it converts your chests to familiars, you can still open them as if they were regular chests! It&#039;s a lot of fun.&lt;br /&gt;

We just released a new patch for DemonCrawl that contains a number of improvements for the Arena gamemode!&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
These improvements include 3 new homelands, 3 arena mods, new emotes/sign parts and various balance changes. Also, we are in the process of fine-tuning the autosweeper code to help it deal with certain boards more intelligently (e.g. it will try to avoid clicking burning cells when possible.) You can expect a follow-up patch sometime next week!&lt;br /&gt;

This update includes over 20 new items, a monster drop table overhaul, a rework for the Wizard mastery, and various balance changes.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Among these new items are two sets of armor - Lightstone and Police armor. Check out the Lightstone set below:&lt;br /&gt;

We just deployed a large content patch for DemonCrawl!&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
This update includes over 20 new items, a monster drop table overhaul, a rework for the Wizard mastery, and various balance changes.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Among these new items are two sets of armor - Lightstone and Police armor. Check out the Lightstone set below:&lt;br /&gt;

We are also hard at work on an even larger patch, which is why we haven&#039;t been very active on social media lately. We can&#039;t say much about it yet, but we think it will be 100% worth the wait!&lt;br /&gt;

Also, we are in the process of fine-tuning the autosweeper code to help it deal with certain boards more intelligently (e.g. it will try to avoid clicking burning cells when possible.) We have released one final stability patch for v1.77! This update addresses several bugs related to the Arena party system, as well as some longstanding issues in the base game.&lt;br /&gt;

Over the next few days, we are going to take a closer look at Arena balance and server stability. We hope to have v1.78 ready by about Wednesday of next week.&lt;br /&gt;

This update includes 6 new items, an engine improvement that allows us to create consumable items with targeted effects, several redesigned sprites and balance changes.&lt;br /&gt;

Also, you can now create parties in Arena by inviting people from your Steam friends list! This feature is still a work in progress, so you may need to be a bit gentle with it.&lt;br /&gt;
