Legendary Items
Legendary items are one of five item categories in Demoncrawl.
There are 77 in total. 43 general legendary items and 34 Mementos. They cannot be crafted into heirlooms though a Scribe can add one to an heirloom slot.
Legendary items provide a variety of bonuses, but typically only 1 can be held at a time. If you pick up a new Legendary, the old one will be overwritten in your inventory and lost unless you are holding Godmonger or are playing as a Protagonist.
Mementos are special legendaries which can only be found in the Endless Multiverse game mode.

Level-based Legendary Items
At level 100 you are given the option to prestige. When you prestige, your level is reset to 1 and all level-based Legendary items need to be unlocked again.

Some legendary items are unlocked by completing specific quests on specific difficulties.
