Magic items are one of five item categories in Demoncrawl.

There are 170 total magic items.

Magic items will give a benefit when clicked or when an automatic activation condition is met (like "revealed a 4+").

Undertaker's Memento Increase your life cap for the next dimension by the number of Sanctified cells in the Metagate. Legendary 0 coins
Second Wind 50% chance to revive on death. Legendary 40 coins
Ointment Whenever you discover a 4 or greater, pacify a Canker. If there are no Cankers to pacify, spawn one instead. Legendary 14 coins
Gardener's Memento Start the next dimension with a Hungry Seed for each Hungry Plant in the Metagate. Legendary 0 coins
Heart Container When you gain this item, double your max lives. Your max lives cannot be reduced. Legendary 35 coins
Sabertooth Amulet When you complete a stage, gain a Minion. Your Minions can survive an extra point of damage. Legendary 13 coins
Sentry Gnome Monsters cannot kill you in one shot as long as you are at full life, and have more than 1 max life. Legendary 16 coins
Spark's Memento Increase your life cap for the next dimension by the number of Electric cells in the Metagate. Legendary 0 coins
Hypertrap Flag 25% of all monsters when you begin a stage. Legendary 30 coins
Resounding Rune Your other legendary and passive items trigger an additional time. Legendary 50 coins
Sphere of Influence Expands the radius of your targetable items by 1. Legendary 30 coins
Puppeteer's Memento Start the next dimension with mastery charges equal to your number of Doll items. Legendary 0 coins
Juggler's Memento Start the next dimension with Juggling Balls for every 10% powerchording and evasion you have. Legendary 0 coins
Lion Tail When you enter a stage, gain Minions equal to the maximum power. Legendary 24 coins
Resolute Horn When you complete a stage, gain 2 souls for each heart you leave behind. Legendary 15 coins
Parrot Treasure chests contain an extra reward. Legendary 18 coins
Battleaxe You can powerchord any cell of value 4 or greater. Legendary 36 coins
Tesla Coil [200 Mana] Reveal a number of cells in target 5x5 area equal to the smallest visible value in that area. Magic 25 coins
Mirror [120 Mana] Randomly use one of your consumable items without losing it. Manalock for 40 turns. Magic 32 coins
Pentagram [200 Mana] Fill target visible 3x3 area with monsters. Magic 14 coins
Sturdy Bow [200 Mana] Reveal target cell if it's not already open. If the cell has a monster, kill it and return 100 mana to this item. Magic 20 coins
Red Flag [70 Mana] Automatically discharges to prevent an empty cell from becoming flagged. Magic 16 coins
Sunken Coin [50 Mana] Gain 10 coins and dangerously open a random cell. If it doesn't have a monster, this item remains charged. Magic 15 coins
Basilisk Eye [100 Mana] Solve a number of random cells equal to your sealed inventory slots plus 1. Magic 25 coins

Shop Key [100 Mana] Spend 5 coins to uncomplete the selected item shop. Magic 15 coins

Ouroboros [500 Mana] Swap the selected stage's monster count with its maximum power. Manalock for 50 turns. Magic 90 coins
Divine Metal Detector [300 Mana] While charged, chests will never contain coins. Magic 22 coins
Bag of Marbles [50 Mana] While charged, your orbs are invisible. Your cankers might auto-discharge this item when you discover a 4 or greater. Magic 20 coins
Fertilizer [60 Mana] Enchant target visible cell: Spawn a Hungry Plant in this cell if it doesn't already have one. Every turn, feed the Plant in this cell without losing an item. If a Plant eats this item, activate his effect 5 times. Magic 35 coins
Weight Bench [100 Mana] Enchant target visible cell: Spawn a Jock nearby. Reveal and kill a random monster whenever a Jock moves into this cell. Magic 36 coins
Dog Collar [100 Mana] Gain a Minion. While charged, your Minions cannot sacrifice themselves. Magic 25 coins
Beehive [100 Mana] Spawn a Honeypot on target visible cell, then increase the charges of all visible Honeypots. Magic 25 coins

Particle Collider [200 Mana] Automatically discharges when two orbs or projectiles collide in a stage. They explode in a 7x7 area. Magic 30 coins
Airbag [150 Mana] Automatically discharges when you're about to take damage. Gain 3% evasion and reduce the damage to 1. Magic 24 coins
Metal Detector [300 Mana] While charged, all chests will contain coins. Magic 22 coins

Eye of the Tiger [140 Mana] Automatically discharges when you discover a cell of value 5 or greater and correctly flags the surrounding cells. Magic 19 coins
Neoplasm [100 Mana] Spawn a [[Canker]]. Add a random mutation to each of your Cankers, plus a mutation for each of your [[Poison]]s. Magic 12 coins
Bonfire [70 Mana] Burn target sign, then fully heal by passing a number of turns equal to your missing lives, restoring 1 life per turn. Magic 18 coins
Brain in a Vat [40 Mana] Tells you whether you must make a guess to proceed. Magic 12 coins
Candelabra [200 Mana] Automatically discharges when the sum of your chain is 5 or greater. Gain a Candle, then reveal cells equal to your number of Candles. Magic 35 coins
Fossil [50 Mana] Convert target living object into a landmark. Does not work on bosses. Magic 10 coins

Trash Bin [50 Mana] Lose an item whose position in your inventory equals value of target numbered cell. Magic 11 coins
Magic Dark Ink [150 Mana] Lose a number of omens equal to the value of target numbered cell, then gain that many random omens. Magic 20 coins
Poison Blade [90 Mana] Kill target monster or stranger in 5 turns, applying Toxic to its cell after it dies. Cancel the cast to poison yourself. Magic 29 coins
Propane [100 Mana] Enchant target visible cell: increase the value of this cell by 1 each turn. If it's 10 or greater, send flares in all directions then reset its value. Magic 33 coins
Lightning Totem [50 Mana] Enchant target visible cell, apply Electric to it: each turn, increase the value by 1. If it's 10 or greater, kill monsters in this quadrant equal to the number of Electric cells in this quadrant, then reset the value. Magic 40 coins
Thornseeker [90 Mana] If target hidden cell has a value of 3 or greater, gain 3 Minions. Magic 31 coins
Sapphire of Frost [70 Mana] Target cell gains or loses Frozen. Magic 21 coins

Tree of Life [100 Mana] Enchant target visible cell: increase the value of this cell by 1 each turn. If it's 10 or greater, spawn a soul here and reset its value. Magic 40 coins
Longbow [400 Mana] Reveal target row. Kill all monsters in the row and return 20 mana to this item for each monster killed this way. Magic 40 coins
Magic Minion [100 Mana] Use Minion. If you're about to take damage, this item will discharge to deflect 1 damage. Magic 15 coins
Shadow Totem [50 Mana] Enchant target visible cell, apply Cursed to it: each turn, increase the value by 1. If it's 10 or greater, kill monsters in this quadrant equal to the number of Cursed cells in this quadrant, then reset the value. Magic 40 coins
Sunken Soul [50 Mana] Gain a soul and dangerously open a random cell. If it doesn't have a monster, this item remains charged. Magic 15 coins
Sunken Shield [50 Mana] Gain 1 defense and dangerously open a random cell. If it doesn't have a monster, this item remains charged. Magic 15 coins
Rainbow Lens [70 Mana] Remove auras from target 5x5 area. Flag a monster for each aura removed this way. Magic 14 coins
Troll Cross [150 Mana] Reduce the stage power by the value of target numbered cell, then spawn that many Cankers. Magic 23 coins
Lance [200 Mana] Destroy monsters in target column. Magic 47 coins
Master's Degree [400 Mana] Activate your mastery's ultimate ability, then manalock for 100 turns. Magic 40 coins

Rainbow Iris [100 Mana] Solve a random cell, plus a number of cells equal to the different types of visible auras. Magic 25 coins
Vampiric Blade [140 Mana] Kill target visible monster or stranger and spawn a heart in its place. If you are not injured, spawn a soul instead. Magic 33 coins
Iron Sceptre [150 Mana] Convert all visible heart drops into defense. Magic 13 coins
Jade of Poison [50 Mana] Target cell gains or loses Toxic. Magic 21 coins

Onyx of Agony [70 Mana] Target cell gains or loses Cursed. Magic 21 coins
Elven Whistle [300 Mana] For 5 turns, solve a cell each turn. This effect lasts an additional turn for each of your Minions. Magic 37 coins
Grappling Hook [300 Mana] Reveal the corner cells. Magic 5 coins
Essence of Death [100 Mana] Gain Bones equal to one-tenth the sum of target visible 3x3 area, rounded down. Magic 25 coins
Flying Carpet [100 Mana] Gain 20% pathfinding and manalock for 100 turns. Lose the same amount of pathfinding after 100 turns. Magic 44 coins
God Rays [250 Mana] Double your morality. If your absolute morality is 30 or greater, reduce the stage power to 1. Magic 32 coins
Godly Goblet [200 Mana] Lose a legendary item and gain a revive. Magic 26 coins
Frostbite [50 Mana] Automatically discharges whenever you discover a 4 or greater and freezes 1 to 3 random monsters. Magic 11 coins
Essence of Security [100 Mana] Gain defense equal to one-tenth the sum of target visible 3x3 area, rounded down. Magic 25 coins
Bank Roll [200 Mana] Automatically discharges when you spend coins. Gain the amount of coins spent. Magic 16 coins
Wand of Retribution [300 Mana] Automatically discharges after you take monster damage and kills all visible monsters. Gain 1 soul for each monster killed. Magic 10 coins
Acupuncture [250 Mana] Lose 1 life and gain 2 defense. Magic 15 coins
Flashlight [120 Mana] Reveal target cell causing its monster to flee, then remove Dark mod from the current stage. Magic 22 coins
Divine Thornseeker [120 Mana] Gain Minions equal to the highest-value hidden cell in target 3x3 area. Magic 35 coins
Ether Totem [50 Mana] Enchant target visible cell, apply Ethereal to it: each turn, increase the value by 1. If it's 10 or greater, kill monsters in this quadrant equal to the number of Ethereal cells in this quadrant, then reset the value. Magic 40 coins
Elemental Fuel [90 Mana] Spread all auras to nearby cells. Magic 13 coins
Fireball [100 Mana] Send Flares in all directions from target visible cell. Magic 34 coins
Ritual Chalk [200 Mana] Enchant target empty cell: until you make a mistake, spawn a familiar in this cell each turn. Magic 34 coins
Sundial [250 Mana] Take the sum value of target 3x3 area. After that many turns, reveal that many random cells. Magic 40 coins
Phoenix Feather [1000 Mana] Automatically discharges to prevent death. Magic 45 coins
Warning Sign [100 Mana] Spawn a sign on target visible cell, then move nearby monsters to random hidden cells. Magic 29 coins
Valentine Bow [400 Mana] Reveal target cell if it's not already open. If the cell has a monster, 200 mana is returned to this item and the monster becomes your familiar. Magic 26 coins
Spike Collar [300 Mana] Automatically discharges when you would lose life. Gain the same amount of souls instead. Magic 35 coins
Starlight [300 Mana] Send a Blessing to the north of target visible cell. Magic 42 coins
Medusa Head [400 Mana] Convert all visible strangers into spawners of the same type, then unseal an inventory slot for each stranger converted this way. Magic 19 coins
Lyre [300 Mana] Reduce the selected stage's monster count by 5. Magic 7 coins
Magic Dice [150 Mana] Rerolls the mods on a selected stage, guaranteeing at least one stage mod. Magic 24 coins
Recycle Bin [150 Mana] Enchant target visible cell: increase the value of this cell by 1 each turn. If it's 10 or greater, drop a random item into this cell then reset its value. Magic 33 coins
Makeshift Weapon [200 Mana] Reveal and kill any monsters in target area, then lose a random weapon. The radius of this item is equal to your number of weapons. Magic 50 coins
Queen of Hearts [200 Mana] Spawn hearts on visible cells in target 3x3 area. Convert any hearts that were already in this area into souls. Magic 45 coins
Vitality Sprig [60 Mana] Restores 1 life. Magic 20 coins
Watering Can [150 Mana] Spawn random loot on 0-value cells within target visible 3x3 area. Magic 15 coins
Snowglobe [150 Mana] Target cell gains Frozen. For the next 5 turns, relocate all Frozen cells and their contents, revealing their original cells. Magic 27 coins
Paragon Stone [50 Mana] Enchant target visible cell: each turn, increase this cell's value by 1. If it's 10 or greater, transform the cell's object into a random item, then reset the cell value. Magic 50 coins
Loudhailer [200 Mana] Spawn random strangers on 0-value cells within target visible 3x3 area. Magic 28 coins
Magic Hammer [500 Mana] Fortify all of your armor by 100% of their current durability. Magic 24 coins
Jack-o-Lantern [60 Mana] Reveal target cell and gain a random omen. Magic 17 coins
Mjolnir [150 Mana] Reduce the monster count of all other stages by the value of target numbered cell. If the cell has a monster, kill it. Magic 40 coins
Spindle [500 Mana] Equip a Simple Robe and fortify it by the sum of the highest visible value(s) in target 3x3 area. Magic 62 coins
Pendulum [150 Mana] Solve 3 cells. Recharge this item whenever an orb is destroyed. Magic 16 coins
Marshmallow [50 Mana] Remove Burning from target visible cell. If the cell has a value of 3, transform this item into Toasted Marshmallow. If the cell has a value of 4 or greater, transform this item into Burnt Marshmallow. Magic 18 coins
Shrine Tag [200 Mana] Enchant target visible cell: reduce incoming damage by the value of this cell. Magic 30 coins
Stopwatch [150 Mana] Pass a number of turns equal to the number of counters on your most recent status effect. Magic 20 coins
King of Diamonds [200 Mana] Spawn diamonds on visible cells in target 3x3 area. Convert any diamonds that were already in this area into purple diamonds. Magic 45 coins
Pact of Nature [100 Mana] Solve a random cell for each of your Minions. If you don't have any, gain a Minion instead. Different minion types will cause different effects. Magic 45 coins
Wand of Light [200 Mana] Reveal target row and column of cells. Magic 50 coins
Library Card [300 Mana] Visit a Library from the overworld. Libraries will have an additional research subject. Magic 24 coins

Powder Keg [300 Mana] Spawn a Barrel on target empty cell. It will explode in 5 seconds. Magic 45 coins

Skull Ring [200 Mana] Gain Bones for each life you are missing. Magic 20 coins
Pufferfish [160 Mana] Automatically discharges when damage reduces your life to 1. Kill 20 random monsters. Magic 21 coins
Pursecutter [150 Mana] Steal coins from target stranger equal to his or her price. Magic 12 coins
Nunchucks [200 Mana] Reveal target 3x3 area. If the sum of that area is less than the sum of your chain, kill all monsters in that area. Otherwise, you take 3 damage. Magic 23 coins
Thief Bag [20 Mana] 50% chance to steal the selected shop item and make a clean escape. Magic 17 coins
Jack of Clubs [500 Mana] Replace your mastery with another random mastery. It starts fully charged. Magic 45 coins
Frost Blade [150 Mana] Freeze target visible living object or explode target Frozen cell in a 5x5 area. Magic 40 coins
Shuriken [110 Mana] Automatically discharges when a monster spawns. Kill the monster before taking damage. Magic 18 coins
Essence of Creation [100 Mana] Gain Minions equal to one-tenth the sum of target visible 3x3 area, rounded down. Magic 25 coins

Spirit Jar [800 Mana] Gain souls equal to the number of stages you have completed. Magic 37 coins

Wooden Bow [80 Mana] Reveal target cell if it's not already open. If the cell has a monster, kill it, otherwise you lose this item. Magic 13 coins
Divine Thief Bag [20 Mana] Steal the selected shop item. 50% chance you will need to escape! Magic 24 coins
Divine Stocking [500 Mana] Gain a Present for each Item Shop you have completed. Magic 16 coins
Amber of Healing [50 Mana] Target cell gains or loses Sanctified. Magic 21 coins
Canteen [100 Mana] Remove all status effects. Magic 8 coins
Altar of Blood [300 Mana] Automatically discharges whenever you take less damage than the max stage power. The max stage power becomes the amount of damage taken. Magic 15 coins
Cattle Prod [80 Mana] Relocate target object to a random visible cell. Magic 6 coins
Beach Ball [20 Mana] Throw at target stranger and be prepared to have a radical time, dude! Magic 0 coins
Divine Lantern [300 Mana] Glean target hidden cell. If it's a 2 or greater, this item retains its mana. Magic 15 coins
Apple Bonsai [50 Mana] After 10 turns, gain an Apple. Magic 30 coins
Alien Blaster [40 Mana] Does weird things to a target living object. Maybe we shouldn't mess with this? Magic 0 coins

Bag of Coal [100 Mana] Automatically discharges when you lose morality. Gain Coal, then apply Burning to a random cell for each Coal you have. Magic 0 coins
Divine Brain in a Vat [50 Mana] Automatically discharges when you have to guess. Magic 10 coins
Divine Tree of Life [50 Mana] Enchant target visible cell: increase the value of this cell by 1 each turn. If it's 10 or greater, reset its value and spawn souls in all visible enchanted cells. Magic 45 coins
Divine Strange Egg [150 Mana] Gain between 1 to 3 Minions. Magic 25 coins

Drill [90 Mana] Enchant target visible cell: each turn, increase this cell's value by 1. If it's 10 or greater, upgrade the loot in this cell or spawn a coin here, then reset the cell value. Magic 40 coins
Divine Blood Magic [100 Mana] Kill a random visible monster and gain 200 mana. Magic 10 coins
Banner [100 Mana] Spawn a familiar in target empty cell. Magic 14 coins
Divine Sturdy Bow [200 Mana] Target 3x3 area is revealed and all monsters in the area are killed. If at least 5 monsters were killed this way, return 100 mana to this item. Magic 22 coins
Bugle [180 Mana] Spawn familiars on the visible cell or cells with the highest value. Magic 24 coins

Blood Compass [60 Mana] Solve a cell and lose 1 life. This item has a 90% chance to remain charged after use. Magic 20 coins
Abacus [200 Mana] If you have to guess, solve a random cell. Repeat until you no longer have to guess. Magic 40 coins
Divine Chainsaw [240 Mana] Kill target visible monster or stranger, spawn a number of Sawblades equal to the cell's value, then set the lifespan of your Sawblades to your chain length. Magic 40 coins
Crucible [400 Mana] Automatically discharges when you spend coins. Gain one-tenth of the coins spent as defense, rounded down. Magic 5 coins
Barricade [90 Mana] Spawn a familiar near target visible cell, then enchant the target cell: block living objects and disperse projectiles. Magic 21 coins
