Monsters are living objects that attack you when you make a mistake.

On death, monsters have about a 60% chance to drop random loot that can spawn randomly on the current stage, a 10% chance to drop  Bones, and a 30% chance to drop a random item from their drop table (listed below). Some monsers are shiny, and those always drop random legendary items instead.

Spider

Spider Fang The next time a monster is revealed, kill it before you can take damage. Consumable
Spybug Glean all hidden cells near visible cells. Consumable
Vitality Sprig [60 Mana] Restores 1 life. Magic
Venomancy When you target a cell with a magic item, it gains Toxic. When you complete a stage, lose 1 max life for each Toxic cell of value 5 or greater. Omen
Book of Combat Pick up hearts at full life to kill a random monster, revealing it if necessary. Passive
Dagger Kill visible monsters. If the monster is standing on a 3 or greater, this dagger breaks. Passive
Extra Pocket You may find duplicate items. When you enter a stage, reduce the minimum power by your highest number of duplicates. Passive
Golden Ring Slightly increases your chance to find coins. Passive
Hunting Whistle Whenever you use a Minion, gain a Minion after 50 turns. Passive
Magic Amulet Cells provide 1 extra mana. Passive
Peach Heart drops are worth 1 extra life. Passive
Scary Mask When you enter a stage, reduce the monster count by the minimum power. Passive


Blob

Appears in:  Cavern.

Nemes Whenever you spend coins on a stranger, their cell gains Cursed. Passive

Scorpion Tail Kill all visible living objects at the end of each stage, applying Toxic to their cells. Passive
Trapper Flag a monster when you begin a stage. Passive
Whetstone Favor all weapon items. Whenever you gain a weapon, you can powerchord any cell for 5 turns. Passive
