Liquid Gold turns into an item with the exact same coin value as the amount of coins you spent. Effects like dyes do affect what it can turn into. If there aren't any items available at the exact coin value, it'll choose an item worth 1 less, and so on until it does find one.

- If you have a
Blue Dye active and 2 Liquid Gold, and you spend 100+ coins, you are guaranteed to get a 
Paragon Rod and a 
Dreamborne because they're the only 2 magic items worth 100+ coins.
