If your research subject is set to Magic, you will be much more likely to find items with the text "magic" anywhere in their effects.

Divine Mud For the next 500 turns, gain a Minion whenever you use a magic item. The next time this activates, get an additional Minion. 15 coins
Dragon Scale Magic items will keep 50% of their mana after use. 40 coins
Enchanting Rune Magic items will trigger an extra time. 21 coins

Lightning Rod Fully discharge a random magic item instead of taking damage. 30 coins
Manaboard Every 10 turns, if it's possible to fully discharge a random magic item, do so and lose 1 life. 0 coins
Mud For the next 100 turns, gain a Minion whenever you use a magic item. 9 coins
Primordial Bangle At the start of each stage, gain a random magic item if you have less than 200 mana. 20 coins
Primordial Gate Whenever you discover a cell of value 5 or greater, gain a random magic item. 40 coins
Prism of Intellect Your targeted magic items will target an additional random cell. 7 coins
Profane Staff Whenever you collect a diamond, manalock a random magic item for a number of turns equal to its mana cost. 0 coins

Venomancy When you target a cell with a magic item, it gains Toxic. When you complete a stage, lose 1 max life for each Toxic cell of value 5 or greater. 0 coins

Wizard Bracers Monsters roll extra times for damage equal to your number of charged magic items, and use the weakest result. 14 coins
Wizard Hat [2 Head Armor] Fortify by 1 whenever you use a magic item. Gain 50 mana whenever this takes damage. 20 coins
Wizard's Memento Increase your life cap for the next dimension by 3 for each of your charged magic items. 0 coins
