Omen items are one of five item categories in Demoncrawl.

There are 119 total omen items.

Omen items will give you a negative bonus while you're holding the item in your inventory, depending on the item you picked up.

Most omens cost 0 coins, except Dead Rodent at 1 coin.

Omens are set to an 11% drop rate from chests.

You will also lose 1 morality for gaining an omen.

Dumpster [100 Mana] Lose all items with a position in your inventory greater than sum of target 3x3 visible area. Magic 22 coins
Enchanted Blade [100 Mana] Kill target living object and enchant its cell: each turn, increase this cell's value by 1. If it's 10 or greater, spawn and kill the same living object, then reset the cell value. Magic 50 coins
Essence of Affluence [100 Mana] Gain coins in increments of 5 equal to one-tenth the sum of target visible 3x3 area, rounded down. Magic 25 coins
Spirit Jar [800 Mana] Gain souls equal to the number of stages you have completed. Magic 37 coins
Elemental Knuckles [200 Mana] For a number of turns equal to the sum of target visible 3x3 area, you can powerchord any cell that has an aura. Magic 26 coins
Shadow Siphon [120 Mana] Gain souls equal to the value of target visible occupied cell, then destroy its contents without triggering kill effects. Magic 80 coins
Divine Bubble Wrap [400 Mana] Bubble 5 random items that aren't Bubble Wrap. Magic 28 coins
Deck of Cards [200 Mana] Gain a random card item that you don't already have. Magic 25 coins
Divine Bugle [130 Mana] Spawn familiars on all visible cells of value 3 or greater and pass a turn. Magic 20 coins
Dragon Knuckles [300 Mana] For a number of turns equal to the monsters you have killed plus 1, you can powerchord any cell. Magic 46 coins
Divine Mirror [500 Mana] Use all of your consumable items without losing them. Manalock for 50 turns. Magic 25 coins
Tabula Rasa [200 Mana] Activate items that would trigger when you enter or begin a stage. Magic 16 coins
Patron Saint [20 Mana] Spend 5 coins on target stranger and convert it to a strong familiar. Magic 7 coins
Bugle [180 Mana] Spawn familiars on the visible cell or cells with the highest value. Magic 24 coins
Divine Sturdy Bow [200 Mana] Target 3x3 area is revealed and all monsters in the area are killed. If at least 5 monsters were killed this way, return 100 mana to this item. Magic 22 coins
Divine Blood Magic [100 Mana] Kill a random visible monster and gain 200 mana. Magic 10 coins
Cauldron [666 Mana] Destroy 2 random omens and gain a random magic item. Magic 21 coins
Divine Jack-o-Lantern [300 Mana] Reveal target cell, then manalock for 50 turns. Expand the radius of this item by your number of omens. Magic 25 coins
Divine Marshmallow [50 Mana] Remove Burning from target 7x7 area and gain 1% pathfinding for each aura removed this way. If you removed fewer than 5, transform into Toasted Marshmallow. Otherwise, transform into Burnt Marshmallow. Magic 25 coins
Divine Cudgel [60 Mana] Kill strangers and landmarks in target visible 3x3 area. Magic 15 coins
Starlight [300 Mana] Send a Blessing to the north of target visible cell. Magic 42 coins
Medusa Head [400 Mana] Convert all visible strangers into spawners of the same type, then unseal an inventory slot for each stranger converted this way. Magic 19 coins
Allgem [50 Mana] Enchant target cell: apply a random aura to this cell each turn. Magic 27 coins
Diamond Rod [300 Mana] Convert all visible loot to diamonds. Magic 30 coins
Demon Snare [300 Mana] Flag all hidden monsters in target 7x7 area. Kill all visible monsters in this area. Remove the last boss mod from each boss in this area. Magic 66 coins
Divine Strange Egg [150 Mana] Gain between 1 to 3 Minions. Magic 25 coins
Spike Collar [300 Mana] Automatically discharges when you would lose life. Gain the same amount of souls instead. Magic 35 coins
Divine Lantern [300 Mana] Glean target hidden cell. If it's a 2 or greater, this item retains its mana. Magic 15 coins
Divine Bonfire [150 Mana] Burn target sign and gain 3 souls. Magic 16 coins
Valentine Bow [400 Mana] Reveal target cell if it's not already open. If the cell has a monster, 200 mana is returned to this item and the monster becomes your familiar. Magic 26 coins
Divine Stocking [500 Mana] Gain a Present for each Item Shop you have completed. Magic 16 coins
Mystery Meat Your consumable item effects are randomized. Omen 0 coins
Planned Obsolescence Whenever you gain an item, lose it after 101 turns. Omen 0 coins
Poison Every 60 turns, you lose 1 life. Omen 0 coins
Mildew Bubble the first 3 other items in your inventory. When you pop a bubble, destroy its contents. Omen 0 coins
Stake Every 50 turns without making a mistake, double the stage power. Omen 0 coins
Infernal Scarab Whenever you discover a cell of value 6 or greater, lose 1 max life. Omen 0 coins
Smog Every 150 turns, exit the current stage without completing. Omen 0 coins
The Plague Omens everywhere. Omen 0 coins
The Joker If you use an item to target visible cells with a sum of 13 or greater, you lose. Omen 0 coins
Morel Cells provide 1 less mana. Omen 0 coins
Tongue of Dog You cannot interact with strangers. Omen 0 coins
Poltergeist When you enter a stage, spawn a number of Cankers equal to the minimum power. Omen 0 coins
Rocking Chair When your mastery's ultimate ability is activated, lose your mastery. Omen 0 coins
Sun Burn Every 100 turns, remove all Frozen auras and get burnt. Omen 0 coins
Heart Plug You cannot restore more than 1 life at a time. Omen 0 coins
Leash You cannot pan the board outside of view. Omen 0 coins
Mimic When you open a chest on a 1 or greater, take monster damage. Omen 0 coins
Ripped Pants Whenever you make a mistake, all visible strangers and familiars flee. Omen 0 coins
Venomancy When you target a cell with a magic item, it gains Toxic. When you complete a stage, lose 1 max life for each Toxic cell of value 5 or greater. Omen 0 coins
Witch Doll Gain an omen for every 2 mastery charges at the start of each stage, and when you activate your ultimate ability. Omen 0 coins
Stolen Relic Whenever you open a chest, you are afflicted with a random curse. Omen 0 coins
Soulsludge Every 80 turns, you lose 1 max life. Omen 0 coins
Mortify If you take damage, for the next 10 turns any amount of damage will kill you. Omen 0 coins
Lead Balloon Lose 5% evasion at the end of each stage. Omen 0 coins
Red Dye You will only find omens. Lose this item when you gain an omen. Omen 0 coins
Profane Staff Whenever you collect a diamond, manalock a random magic item for a number of turns equal to its mana cost. Omen 0 coins
Spooky Doll Probably not even cursed. Omen 0 coins
Stinging Nettle Take 1 damage whenever you gain an item. Omen 0 coins
Rust At the start of each stage, cut the durability of your armors in half. Omen 0 coins
Junk Every 100 turns, gain Junk. Omen 0 coins
Padlock Every 50 turns, seal or unseal your entire inventory. Omen 0 coins
Lycan Snag Every 20 turns, convert all strangers into monsters. Omen 0 coins
Hobo Cap When you enter an Item Shop, increase the prices. Omen 0 coins
Overgrowth Spawn a Hungry Plant every 3 turns. You must spend 10 coins to feed a Hungry Plant. Omen 0 coins
Wanted Poster The next time you would lose lives, lose triple the amount and lose this item. Omen 0 coins
Sky Net Whenever you discover a cell of value 5 or greater, destroy a random orb. Omen 0 coins
Dead Rodent Hearts no longer drop. Omen 1 coins
Frozen Asset You cannot gain more than 1 coin at a time. 50% chance to apply Frozen to coin drops. Omen 0 coins
Closed Sign After you purchase an item from an Item Shop, immediately leave. Omen 0 coins
Broken Rib Your defense is capped to the minimum stage power. Omen 0 coins
Finality You cannot be revived. Omen 0 coins
Ball and Chain You will not discover landmarks. Omen 0 coins
Book of Maths Randomizes all numbers shown in tooltips. Omen 0 coins
Earthblock Stage mods cannot be created nor removed. Omen 0 coins
Gnarled Branch If you use a magic item, you lose that item. Omen 0 coins
Chastity Belt You cannot gain max life. Omen 0 coins
Comeuppance Whenever you collect loot, spawn a Canker in its place. Omen 0 coins
Bagman Medal Stages have an additional Bagman. Omen 0 coins
Chromatic Choker Monsters attack additional times equal to the number of stage mods. Omen 0 coins
Glitch Spawn a Canker. Your orbs move erratically. Omen 0 coins
Black Rose Every 20 turns, convert all visible loot to omens. Omen 0 coins
Growing Pains Monsters deal extra damage equal to your number of omens. Omen 0 coins
Blackmail When you would gain an item, lose this item instead. Omen 0 coins
Gluttony Whenever you gain a consumable item, use it right away. Omen 0 coins
Grim Pump Whenever you gain an orb, increase size and speed of all orbs. Omen 0 coins
Doomcall When you open half of all empty cells, spawn a Harbinger. Harbingers activate an additional time. Omen 0 coins
Coal You cannot gain morality. Whenever you lose morality, you get burnt. Omen 0 coins
Fig Leaf Unequip your armor. You cannot wear armor. Omen 0 coins
Fan Auras and enchantments move. Omen 0 coins
Empty Chest Stages no longer have a guaranteed chest. Omen 0 coins
Contagion Chests have an additional 10% chance to contain Contagion. Omen 0 coins
Fake Candy Spawn a Dark Heart every 10 turns. Whenever a heart is collected, increase the stage power. Omen 0 coins
Burnt Marshmallow Burning cells deal 1 additional point of life loss. Every 50 turns, lose your first consumable item and apply Burning to a random cell. Omen 0 coins
Brainsap Lose 5 coins whenever a cell becomes unflagged. Omen 0 coins
Claw Monsters have a 50% chance to attack an extra time. Omen 0 coins
Broken Pocket You cannot use items that you have more than one of. Omen 0 coins
Dry Spell At the end of each stage, lose half of your mana. Omen 0 coins
False Lamb Stages have 2 Cursed cells for each of your omens. Monsters are empowered by empty Cursed cells. Omen 0 coins
Extortion Lose a random item every 20 turns. Omen 0 coins
Faulty Firecracker Your targeted items have a 50% chance to explode the target instead, burning you and destroying the item in the process. Omen 0 coins
Ancient Evil When you enter the final stage, lose this item and gain two omens. Omen 0 coins
Dark Idol 50% chance to lose 1 life at the end of each stage. Omen 0 coins
Electric Eel At the start of each stage, all monsters on cells of value 3 or greater gain Electric. Omen 0 coins
Cheap Imitation All legendary items are transformed into passive items that are worth less. Omen 0 coins
False Map Lose 5% pathfinding at the end of each stage. Omen 0 coins
Doughnut You cannot lose other omens. Omen 0 coins
Divine Shadowbind When you lose this item, lose all of your other omens. Omen 0 coins
Heavy Burden Your inventory is considered full at half capacity. Omen 0 coins
Caustic Wand Whenever you target a cell with an item, take damage equal to the value of the cell. Omen 0 coins
Blood Oil When you enter a stage, increase the monster count by 10. Omen 0 coins
Blighted Totem Every 50 turns, increase the power of all stages by 1. Omen 0 coins
Golem Glove Coin drops are converted to monsters. Omen 0 coins
Dizzy Stars Double the value of a random cell each stage. Omen 0 coins
Greedy Pig Lose up to half your coins at the end of each stage. Omen 0 coins
Harbinger Medal Stages have an additional Harbinger. Omen 0 coins
Fool's Gold Coin chests will instead steal your money. Omen 0 coins
Borrowed Time Every 5 minutes, lose half of your lives. Omen 0 coins
Blindfold When you enter a stage, it gains a random stage mod. Omen 0 coins
Groupie Each turn you click on an empty cell, a random visible stranger relocates to that cell. Omen 0 coins
Broken Mirror 50% chance to negate item effects. Omen 0 coins
Grease Every 20 turns, all visible monsters that are not in the quadrant of the cell you open will flee. Whenever a monster flees, add it to the next stage. Omen 0 coins
Hellspire When you enter a stage, triple its minimum power. Omen 0 coins
Divine Doomcall Each stage has an additional Harbinger. Pay a Harbingers to make its effect beneficial. Omen 0 coins
Broken Chain 50% chance to break your chain each turn. Omen 0 coins
Toxic Rainbow When you apply an aura, 50% chance to apply Toxic instead. Omen 0 coins
Glass Knuckles You cannot powerchord. Whenever you chord a 1, lose 1 life. Omen 0 coins
Mosquito Lose 1 life every 40 turns. Reset this status counter when you leave a stage. Omen 0 coins
Golden Flea When you enter a stage, increase the monster count for every 10 coins you have. Omen 0 coins
