Score
Score (or Points) is a statistic used to rank players on a leaderboard for each quest. Score is gained through Awards, which are given after completing a stage. Each award gives a different amount of score, and has certain qualifications that must be met to receive them (for example, completing a stage without taking damage).
Awards
Award | Description |
---|---|
Victory |
Awarded upon completing a stage. Stages with very low monster counts give low scores, and stages with very high monster densities also give low scores. This is because the score is 140% of the minimum number of clicks theoretically required to solve the stage (aka the "3BV"). This is determined as one click for each connected region of 0 cells, plus one click for each non-monster cell not nearby a 0 cell. This calculation happens at the end of the stage, so killing monsters or adding monsters during a stage can affect score.
Tablet of Pyxe's stage reward gives 100 score, which is displayed as part of the Victory award, but this score does not increase the amounts or maximums of the other awards. |
Flagless |
Awarded if you completed the stage without flagging a cell. Gives score equal to 50% of the Victory award, rounded up. |
Untouchable |
Awarded if you completed a stage without taking damage. Gives score equal to 25% of the Victory award, rounded up. |
Fast |
Awarded if you complete a stage quickly. Three times are set at the beginning of a stage, depending on the difficulty of a stage. Based on your speed, you may get an insanely fast award, a very fast award, or a fast award. Score given depends on how fast you were, up to a maximum of 100% of the score the Victory award would give. |
Thrifty |
Awarded if there are at least 3 special stages on the world map that are uncompleted, unlocked, and earlier than the current stage. Gives score equal to 1/6 of the Victory award, multiplied by the number of those special stages.
There can be up to 9 special stages in a single quest, so this can give a maximum of 150% of the Victory award. |
Charitable |
Awarded if you left certain loot behind. Gives a flat amount of score depending on what loot was left behind, up to a maximum of 100% of the Victory award. Coins and diamonds give their coin value in points, chests give 5 points. |
Heartless |
Awarded for leaving hearts behind if you are injured. Gives 5 points per heart, up to a maximum of 100% of the Victory award. |
Quest Complete |
Awarded when there are no uncompleted stages remaining. Gives XP based on the stages you completed during the quest, up to a maximum of 1000 XP, but gives no score.

Boost |
Awarded if you have any EXP boosts remaining. Gives XP equal to the Victory award, but gives no score. |
Achievements |
Awarded if you completed any achievements since you last finished a stage. Gives variable XP depending on the achievement. Gives no score. |
Mastery
Two Masteries scale scores directly. The Novice Mastery reduces your score by half. The Prophet Mastery boosts your XP gain by 35%, which also boosts your score by the same amount.
